Tristan is a visual artist who works primarily with photography. He juggles both fine art and commercial work, deriving some

satisfaction from clients and self. His art revolve around staged photography, photographs produced are visual representations of

issues that cannot be resolved in his head, and they also form an expression of his insecurities.

Recognized for the fine quality of his works, he was the recipient of four Asia Photo Awards, a Paris Grande de Le Prix 2007 and

has exhibited in a number of juried shows across Asia and in the US, at venues including the Denver International Airport

Invitational Exhibition in Colorado, the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the Avenida de Praia Grande in Macau and the 798 Photo

District in Beijing. He has also shown his works at international photography festivals in Bangladesh and Singapore (SIPF satellite

exhibition). In 2009, he was awarded the Professional Development Grant and Arts Bursary Award from the National Arts Council of

Singapore. His works are collected by the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and Ngee Ann Cultural Centre, Singapore.

Most of his commissioned works are used in websites, marketing collaterals and published in magazines. Recently, he ventured

into television, unfortunately not as the suave leading actor, but as a photographer on a Finnish reality show.
