A rhetorical response to how advertising has moulded the archetypes of the successful today, Beautifully Rich,

explores the transcient quality of contemporary society’s pursuits. The immateriality of material goods and the endless

chase for intangible wisdom and romance are some of the issues being presented.  Photographed in a stark and

polished way, the images metaphorically mimic advertising photography while bringing about questions on the

representations of truth in this medium.

The overlaps of art and commercial photography are being explored as I attempt to bring into conversation the shifting

values of people in the world today.
